Professor Iain Walker is a social psychologist with an extensive record of research in several applied areas, including pro-environmental behaviour and intergroup conflict. Some of his recent research has examined resilience and cohesion following the Australian bushfires, responses to climate change, the relationships between environmental and human health, urban heatwaves, racism, and organ donation. Iain has published 3 books and nearly 200 academic papers (including book chapters, reports, and journal articles). He is a professor of psychology and Director of the Melbourne Centre for Behaviour Change at the University of Melbourne. He was previously the Director of the Research School of Psychology at the Australian National University.

Abby Robinson is a third year PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne. Her research explores how social groups can facilitate behaviour change. She is particularly interested in the intersection of urban planning and psychology. Abby has a background in health promotion, having conducted research on vaping, nutrition, and student wellbeing.
